About Central Coast

In 2006, Larry and Sherry Starkweather dreamed of a project that would bring Fort Atkinson to the next level of culinary excellence.  They wanted to build a fine dining French restaurant that would offer two different types of dining to their customers.  The main dining area would offer cuisine inspired by the Central Coast region of California, with an emphasis on French dishes.  The fine dining, “Sherry’s Room”, would maintain a prix fixe menu of five and seven course meals that would showcase the chef’s superior cooking skills and introduce extraordinary French food to the Fort Atkinson area.

Upon positive feedback from the community, Larry and Sherry decided to make the dream a reality, and moved forward with their plans for a restaurant.  In the spring of 2007 they broke ground in the Klement Business Park on a beautiful parcel of land overlooking Allen Creek.   

The wine list features wine from the Central Coast wine region in California, and exhibits a comprehensive array of choices for the most selective of palates.
